In the world of firearm optics, the Vortex UH-1 Holographic Sight and EOTech EXPS are two standout contenders that have captured the attention of shooting enthusiasts and professionals. These cutting-edge holographic sights represent the pinnacle of technological innovation in the optics industry. In todays article I will focus on their Airsoft copies. One is made by Holy Warrior and second provided by OPP tactical store. So let’s jump straight to it!
Overall quality
Both sights are extreamly well made for airsoft standards. They feel solid and nice in touch. Both are made out of aluminum, they have original markings and overall are really similar to real steal ones. Of course they are red dots not holographic sights but still quality is really high due to not a bad price. If you looking for good looking, bright red dot for your Airsoft rifle it can be product for you. There is no doubt that this two badboys are one of the sexiest sights on the market. Just look at this.
Reticle
In both copies reticles looks alike original ones. They are bright and sharp. In HolyWarrior ET there is 20 levels of brightness + nvg mode. In Huey only 5 + nvg mode. In second one not much, but it’s enough. Both are bright enough for sunny days and dark enough if you want to shoot at night. Regullation is precise specially for Airsoft standards – 1/2 MOA for Vortex and 1 MOA per click in Eotech. Unfortunately ghost effect appear in Eotech. Didn’t notice this problem in Vortex which is great if you are switching between bright to dark places. Both will also hold zero on GBBR and .22 lr.
Paralax

Mounting system
Both sights have QD mounts and staying stiff on the rail.
Summary
If you looking for sexy red dot they are products for you! Both are great quality and will work great for your Airsoft rifle. Vortex costs about 80$, Eotech 150. It’s big price difference but to be honest I don’t see any major difference between them in quality. Both are bright, made out of aluminium, have nvg mode. What do you need more? If you are on a budget go with Vortex. In my opinion you just paying extra for Eotech only for look and branding. Maybe in some extreme condition it will perform better but to be honest for Airsoft Vortex is far more than you need.
